In Mark 14, we find two stories of loyal followers betraying God, themselves, and their neighbors for the sake of self-preservation. Right in the middle of them is an incredibly beautiful story of an unnamed woman who pours out all that she has in devotion to her relationship with Jesus. We are often all 3 stories, and thankfully God loves each of us right in the middle of the mess and glory of our lives.
