“I helped start A Seattle Church in 2015 as the co-founding pastor. Since then I have served through preaching regularly and leading ASC's focus on discipleship and leadership development within the context of community. I love our city and think our best days are ahead of us in the 206. I live in North Seattle with my wife, Kim and our 3 girls Miriam (“Miri”), Evangeline (“Evie”), and Arielle (“Ari”). When I find free time in the chaos of 3 kids under the age of five, I love to read, drink amazing coffee, travel to new places, and root for the Portland Trail Blazers… Yes, I know its a sensitive topic in Seattle 🙂 #BringBackOurSonics.”
“I joined the ASC Leadership Team in the spring of 2017. I love providing administrative leadership and support to our team, working with our families and serving as an ASC village leader. I live in Magnolia with my husband, Erick and our 3 active kids.”
I am a full-time missionary from Stellenbosch, South Africa. In 15 years of vocational ministry experience, given my unique gifting, I have been a pioneer who has helped plant 8 churches, including 7 with Every Nation and 1 with Hillsong South Africa. Some of my key strengths are Cultural Intelligence Consulting, Leadership Development, Worship/Music Ministry and building sustainable teams. In all, I always keep “Legacy” in in the forefront of my mind. No matter where in the world I get to be, people encounter God through me. Thousands have been impacted directly through my mission and ministry and hundreds baptized. At the core of my being, I believe in making disciples of all nations, and this is why I moved to New York City from South Africa, and now to lead at ASC in our tech city and global hub in South Lake Union, Seattle, WA. These are some of the most culturally and generationally diverse places on earth, where I believe there is more daily opportunity to teach a new disciple the ways of Jesus.
I am a Communication and Public Relations specialist. Over the past several years, I have served in churches, sports and entertainment. I’m passionate about using creative ways to turn people’s ideas into realities through digital and traditional marketing.
My desire is to disciple the next generation to know Jesus as Lord and Savior and to create opportunities where athletes can use their voice and influence for kingdom purposes.
