2021 has been another year of experiencing the faithfulness of God in and through our ministry. At a Seattle Church, we plan and organize around a fiscal calendar that runs from January to December. All of our discipleship planning, dreaming and stewardship are directly dependent upon God’s provision through your generosity. Your giving directly impacts our ability to see the vision of A Seattle Church flourish in Seattle and beyond.
For those of you who have continuously given out of a joyful and compassionate heart, thank you! We want to invite our whole church to partner together in the work God is doing in this city at this time, through our local church by giving radically. This is an opportunity to give above and beyond your normal tithes and offerings to be a part of something special. A Seattle Church brings in 36% ($125,000) of its revenue around the holidays. Your gifts will help us close out this year with abundant resources to set us up for the next season.
After a globally challenging 2020, we rejoice in some of the things God has done in our community in 2021:

We spent a majority of this last year in a Habits sermon series to set our hearts, minds, and actions toward following Jesus for a lifetime.

On May 9th we had our first in-person gathering, after 15 months of online only gatherings. We have had no reported incidents of COVID-19 spreading from our weekly gatherings.

We connected with more than 280 new people who signed up to take the next step in our discipleship process at ASC.

68 people stepped up to serve during our Sunday gatherings.

111 People signed up to join a small group.

We developed a healthy serving culture and leadership development pipeline.

Gave close to $20,000 back to other church planting organizations.

Gave over $30,000 to other non-profits around the Seattle area including Street Youth Ministries, Live Salted, DADS, World Relief & Union Gospel Mission.

After a much needed sabbatical for our small group leaders, 10 small groups were launched across the city.

We successfully implemented a livestream service to those who could not join us in person.

Continued to cultivate a strong collaboration between ASC staff and council

Brought on Brice Herrick full time. Increased Nthabi Mushi’s role . Added Richard Taylor & Allen Wong to our team.

21 Days of Prayer and Fasting this fall with daily prayer calls covering our city, nation, world, and church in prayer.

At near-max capacity for our in-person gatherings, and we are looking ahead at how to make more space for neighbors and those who call ASC home.
